A statement by the Joint Operations Command, Security Media Cell, stated, 'After our security units within Diyala Operations Command sector began a security operation today, Saturday, in Al-Ait orchards, which have great geographical complexity and contain seedlings, forests, and trees that limit or completely prevent the view, our security units that surrounded a group of the terrorist elements within this area were able to kill a number of them and injure others after clashing with them. The duty also resulted in the martyrdom of a number of our heroic fighters and the injury of others. The statement stressed, "The operation is still ongoing based on accurate intelligence information, as our security forces are working to comb the area thoroughly." It is worth noting that the security operation carried out yesterday in Al-Ait orchards resulted in the killing of two terrorists, one of whom was the cr iminal known as (Abu Al-Harith), the so-called official of Khan Bani Saad within Diyala sector.
