A meeting in Sa'ada province today,Saturday, headed by Governor Muhammad Jaber Awad, discussed procedures related to the implementation of Al-Aqiq-Kitaf Road Project with community contributions. The meeting, which included the Secretary-General of the province's local district, Muhammad al-Imad, the province's agent, Mohsen al-Hamzi, the director of works, engineer Ahsan al-Qahm, and a number of sheikhs from Kitaf District, touched on the importance of the project in serving the people of the region and the district. At the meeting, Governor Awad stressed the importance of implementing community initiative projects and activating the work of the Initiatives Department in the province to carry out its tasks in stimulating the community role in the development process. He indicated the local authority's willingness to provide 50 percent of the project cost, noting the role of expatriates in contributing to a number of community initiatives in the province.
