Discussing mechanisms for developing work in industrial sector in Sana’a

A meeting held today,Wednesday, in Sana'a, headed by the Minister of Industry and Trade in the caretaker government, Muhammad Sharaf Al-Mutahhar, discussed the progress of work performance in the ministry's industrial sector. At the meeting, Al-Mutahhar stressed the importance of developing work mechanisms in the sector and qualifying cadres in a way that contributes to improving the work situation and reflects positively on developing industrial activity in the country and supporting local production. He indicated that the Ministry is in the process of starting a project to register locally produced and imported goods in cooperation with the General Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control, stressing the importance of the project in forming an important database and developing plans that contribute to the development of national industries. For his part, Undersecretary for the Industry Sector, Ayman Al-Khalqi, reviewed the work mechanisms in the public administrations of the sector, t he planned development and modernization plans in the areas of industrial zones, industrial development, small projects, and benefiting from other experiences.
