Sana'a - Saba : A joint meeting between the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Yemeni Consumer Protection Association was heldon Monday in Sana'a. The meeting was dedicated to discussing the mechanism of forming the working team and joint committees to implement the national initiative to support the Yemeni product, which will be launched in the coming period under the slogan "My Identity is Yemeni - My National Product". At the meeting, the director of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mohammed Qafla, pointed out the importance of this initiative aimed at encouraging national products. He stressed the need to mobilize energies and exert all efforts to make the initiative a success , achieve its goals through the work of its committees and their implementation of the tasks assigned to them with all seriousness. For his part, the President of the Yemeni Consumer Protection Association, Fadl Mansour, stressed the importance of this initiative, which is organized by the association in partnership with the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Economy, Industry and Investment Ministry to enhance consumer confidence in the national product. He pointed out that the success of this initiative requires everyone's solidarity to provide a national product with specifications that meet the desires and needs of the consumer. Mansour reviewed the components of the initiative, its objectives, mechanisms and desired results, in addition to distributing the committees and defining their tasks, as well as defining the roles of the concerned parties to make the initiative successful and achieve its goals.
