A meeting in Al-Bayda province, headed by Governor Abdullah Idris, today,Wednesday, discussed the implementation of the general vision plan for developing cooperative work and the mechanism of work of all development partners. The meeting, which included the directors of the relevant executive offices and the Agricultural Committee, reviewed the results of the workshop in which the province's leadership participated with the leadership of the Sana'a and Marib provinces, related to coordinating and unifying cooperative and development work among partners at the central and local levels in accordance with the general vision for developing cooperative work that was prepared by the development partners and based on Directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council. The governor stressed the necessity of understanding the general vision for developing cooperative work and implementing it according to a specific plan , timetable and identifying model directorates for cooperative work. He stressed the importance of working according to a chronic implementation mechanism and encouraging cooperative work in all directorates to reach the exemplary level and identifying those concerned with implementing the vision. Idris drew attention to the interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in activating the role of agricultural associations, supporting community initiatives, paying attention to the agricultural aspect, reclaiming hard lands, maintaining dams, and creating barriers to benefit from rain torrents in modern ways and serving development issues in various regions. He urged the local authority leaders in the districts to facilitate the work of the development team and work in a one-team spirit to contribute to achieving sustainable development.
