The Finance Minister, Abdul Jabbar Ahmed Mohammed, discussed with the head of the Civil Defense Authority, Major General Ibrahim Al-Muayyad, the conditions and needs of the authority according to the tasks assigned to it. The meeting discussed the importance of strengthening the infrastructure of the authority's main branches, in addition to modernizing its fleet of vehicles and equipment needed for its work. The meeting reviewed the efforts made by the department and its contributions in mitigating the damage caused by the torrential rains that swept a number of provinces during the past period. The meeting stressed the importance of prioritizing high-risk provinces by providing vehicles and equipment to ensure rapid response. The meeting emphasized the need to provide the necessary expenses for the operation of the department's vehicles and ensure their permanent maintenance to achieve sustainability in providing services to citizens.
