Director of SCMCHA distributed assistances to displaced, poor and sick families

The Director of the Humanitarian Affairs Council branch in Hodeida Governorate, Jaber Al-Razhi, confirmed that more than two thousand and 781 food baskets and cash assistance were distributed to displaced and poor families and a number of patients in the governorate. Al-Razhi told Saba that 455 baskets were distributed to the poorest and malnutrition families in Az Zaydiyah district, 100 baskets to the families of the victims of the remnants of the aggression in Ad Durayhimi, 200 baskets to poor families in the city of Hodeida, 250 baskets to the poor in Jabal Ra's district, and 600 baskets to cancer patients in the city. He pointed out that a food basket and an amount of 50,000 riyals were distributed to 63 kidney failure patients in the Bayt al-Faqih district, and cash assistance to one thousand and 35 cases in Al Qanawis district by 62,500 riyals for each case, and a thousand 253 cases in the districts of Jabal Ra's, Az Zaydiyah , Alluheyah, Al Qanawis and Az Zuhrah, at a rate of 122,000 for each case. Al-Razhi pointed out that Eid clothing was distributed to 500 children in Ad Durayhimi district, medicines, medical supplies, food aid and Eid clothing for a number of poor cases in the current district, 40 baskets for Bilal's grandchildren in the port district, 200 baskets for the disabled in Al Garrahi district, and 820 baskets for poor groups and patients in the city square. He stated that this assistance is provided by Direct Aid, Maharati Foundation for Development, Norwegian Refugee Council, Rawahel Foundation, CARE, Mobaderoon Wal Rufaqa Foundations, and Faali Khayr, as part of humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of these cases, especially with the advent of the month of Ramadan.
