Director of Policy and Planning Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Participates in China and Middle East Forum

Beijing, HE Director of Policy and Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Fahad Al Khater has participated in the special forum on China and the Middle East organized by Center for China and Globalization (CCG) in collaboration with Amersi Foundation in Beijing, China. Addressing a session under the title of a peaceful, prosperous, and stable Middle East that is free of nuclear weapons for all, HE Al Khater underscored the State of Qatar's role and unwavering support for the regional and global efforts devoted to achieving a Middle East free of nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction, particularly at this critical stage due to tensions in the region. His Excellency highlighted Qatar's efforts in setting the framework of the GCC regional security vision that was declared during the current session of the GCC states chaired by in March 2024.
