Dhamar University has organized a solidarity stand under the slogan "Victory for Gaza" to support the Palestinian people and condemn the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas political bureau. Participants reaffirmed their unwavering support for the Palestinian resistance, vowing to continue backing it by all means despite any sacrifices. The participants condemned the Zionist entity's assassination of Haniyeh, asserting that such aggression will not weaken the resolve of the Palestinian people or the determination of the nation's defenders to follow in the martyrs' footsteps until their land and holy sites are liberated. A statement from the stand lauded the steadfastness and heroism of the Palestinian people and the fighters in Gaza against the American-Zionist war machine. The statement also condemned Israeli attacks on Beirut's southern suburb and fighters in Iraq, expressing solidarity with the Lebanese and Iraqi resistance against Zionist aggression. It empowered the leadership to take necessary actions to support the Palestinian people and retaliate against Zionist aggression in Hodeida. The statement called for increased operations in the ongoing escalation phase, notably following the "Jaffa" operation. It criticized the inaction of Arab and Islamic nations and denounced American and European support for the Gaza genocide. The statement urged Arab and Muslim leaders to fulfill their moral and humanitarian duties by supporting the Palestinian people and their resistance against the Zionist killing and destruction machine.
