Dhamar Industry Office launches field monitoring campaign in markets

Industry and Trade Office in Dhamar province launched today,Wednesday, a field monitoring campaign on markets and commercial stores. The campaign aims to control prices, control spoiled and expired goods, commercial fraud, apply weights, raise awareness ,publicize prices, and control the process of poor storage in conjunction with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. During the inauguration, the Undersecretary of Dhamar, Mahmoud Al-Jabin, stressed the importance of the campaign in controlling prices, basic and consumer goods, controlling violations, maintaining the stability of the food supply situation, and protecting the consumer. For his part, Director of the Industry Office, Sadiq Al-Jabr, stressed the importance of the campaign in strengthening efforts to monitor markets, control prices, and protect the consumer from any exploitation or manipulation. He pointed out that the campaign is being implemented in cooperation with the local authority, to monitor the extent of compliance with the price li st approved by the Ministry of Industry and to take legal measures against violators.
