The General Authority of Customs announced the destruction of various narcotic and psychotropic substances in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Supreme National Committee for Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances. The Authority's statement explained that the operation was carried out in the special incinerator in the Forensic Medicine Department in Baghdad Governorate affiliated with the Ministry of Health, with a total weight of (124,104,610) one hundred and twenty-four kilograms, one hundred and four grams, six hundred and ten milligrams of narcotics and psychotropic substances, (64) sixty-four glass boxes of (Balmosimo) and (150,000) one hundred and fifty thousand pills of Sidavid. The Authority explained that the destruction process was carried out for lawsuits that had been deemed final by the special courts, and this came within the strategy of implementing the provisions of the law and the judiciary.
