Baghdad, The prices of Basra Heavy and Medium crude oil recorded an increase today, Wednesday, despite the decline in global oil prices. Basra Heavy crude prices rose $1.24 to reach $82.29, and Basra Medium crude prices rose $1.8 to reach $85.39. Global oil prices fell at a time when sector data showed a rise in crude and fuel inventories in the United States, indicating a possible weakness in demand, and caution prevailed in supply expectations before a meeting of the OPEC+ bloc next month.
