Demonstrators in the Khor Al-Zubair district, west of Basra, blocked today the main road leading to the ports of Umm Qasr and Khor Al-Zubair, in protest against the lack of job opportunities. The demonstrators stressed that their demonstrations and protests will continue if their demands for appointment in companies operating within the ports are not met.
