Death Toll in Gaza Rises to 69,546 as Rescue Teams Struggle to Reach Victims

Gaza: Medical sources in Gaza announced on Wednesday that the death toll in the territory has climbed to 69,546, most of them children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. Local health authorities reported that the number of wounded has reached 170,833 over the course of the assault. Many victims remain buried under collapsed buildings as ambulances and civil defense crews struggle to reach them amid ongoing dangers and limited resources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, hospitals in Gaza received 33 bodies over the past 48 hours, including 32, with 12 children and eight women, who were recovered from beneath the rubble, in addition to 88 injured people. Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 11, at least 312 Palestinians have been killed and 760 others wounded, while 572 bodies have been recovered during this period.
