Gaza: The ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has resulted in 56,531 reported fatalities, with nearly 133,642 wounded since October 7, 2023, according to medical sources in Gaza.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, since March 18 - when Israel resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip following a ceasefire agreement - the toll has included 6,203 Palestinians killed and 21,601 others wounded.
In the past 24 hours, Gaza hospitals have received 28 bodies - including 3 recovered from under the rubble - and 223 wounded individuals. Ambulance and rescue crews face grave difficulties in reaching the dead and wounded due to ongoing shelling, with many victims remaining trapped under the rubble of the targeted homes, buildings, or left on the roads.
