Cultural events in Damt mark Prophet’s birthday

DHALE' SABA: Cultural evenings were held in the Damt district of Dhale' province to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. Speeches during the events, organized by the neighborhoods of Damt emphasized the significance of commemorating the birth of the Prophet of humanity. The speeches highlighted the importance of celebrating the Prophet's birth to strengthen cultural identity and adherence to the teachings of the final Prophet. They underscored the lessons from the Prophet's life, his noble character, and his struggles against the enemies of the nation and Islam. The speakers affirmed that the victories achieved by the Yemeni people and armed forces in supporting al-Aqsa Flood campaign are a reflection of their devotion to the Prophet and adherence to his values and perseverance. They also noted Yemen's historical role in supporting and loving the Prophet, recalling how the Ansar welcomed him during his migration to Medina and celebrated his arrival. Th e speeches called for a grand and honorable turnout on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal to celebrate the Prophet's birthday, in honor and love for the leader of humanity, and to reinforce commitment to his righteous path. The evening, attended by local leaders, executives, sheikhs, and social figures, included a musical performance, children's folk dances, and poetry and singing segments, expressing joy for the arrival of the Prophet's birth. Additionally, the Martyr of the Quran School organized a cultural evening to mark the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, with speeches highlighting his profound significance and his struggle against the enemies of God.
