Cultural evening on third anniversary of deceased Abdul Wahab Mahmoud death

A cultural evening was held in Sana'a on Thursday on the third anniversary of the death of the nation's deceased, former Deputy Speaker of the Parliament- Regional Secretary of Arab Socialist Baath Party, Dr. Abdul Wahab Mahmoud Abdul Hamid. In the evening, Secretary of the Supreme Political Council, Dr. Yasser Al-Houri, stressed Yemen's loss in losing the thinker and activist, Dr. Abdul Wahab Mahmoud, the consensus political figure who had left his mark on political life in general. In turn, the Shura Council Deputy Chairman , Abdo Mohammed Al-Jundi, considered Dr. Abdul Wahab Mahmoud a prominent political figure, a man of position and principles, who lived as a patriot, a unifier and a nationalist. He explained that the deceased was a statesman in every sense of the word and a fighter who sought to unite the Yemenis and put the national interest above all interests, by serving the people. Al-Junaid pointed out the prominent role of the deceased in his foreign relations and representing Yemen in the dipl omatic corps when he assumed the position of ambassador to some Arab and foreign countries.. stressing that Yemen has lost a national and nationalist symbol, who was respected and appreciated by all, for his social status and his prominent political, parliamentary and diplomatic role. While the Acting Secretary-General of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Mohammed Al-Zubairi, praised the positions of the fighter Abdul-Wahhab Mahmoud and his national and struggle roles, whether in political, parliamentary or diplomatic work. The son of the deceased, member of the Qatari leadership , head of the National and Foreign Relations Office of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, Dr. Rami Abdul Wahab Mahmoud, stressed that the commemoration of the third anniversary of the nation's deceased death , Dr. Abdul Wahab Mahmoud, comes amid difficult and exceptional circumstances that Yemen is going through, which require national consensus to confront various current challenges. He called for working to restore priorities to achi eve the interests of the Yemeni people and enhance national unity, extending his thanks to the attendance of the state's leaders , members of Ministers Council , Representatives , Shura Councils, political representatives, partisan parties , components and their participation in the memorial evening on the third anniversary of his father.
