The Higher Institute for Training and Qualifying In-Service Teachers in Taiz Province organized a cultural and rhetorical event on martyrdom of Imam Hussein - peace be upon him anniversary - under the slogan, 'Humility is far from us.' At the event, in the presence of faculty members and students of the Institute, the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Mounir Ahmed, stressed the importance of commemorating this occasion to draw lessons from the character, courage and sacrifice of Imam Hussein - peace be upon him - and to link the reality of the nation to what the great grandson of the Messenger - may God bless him , his family and grant them peace - was exposed to in Karbala. He stressed the need to rally around the revolutionary leadership in confronting the allies of the tyrant, and to support and assist the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance... pointing out that what is happening in Gaza and Palestine is the result of that betrayal, negligence, and is an extension of the oppression that happened in Karbala.
