HODEIDA - SABA : The head of the specialized criminal prosecution in Hodeidah Governorate, Judge Ahmed Al-Shami, directed the release of 35 prisoners during his visit on Tuesday, to the central correctional facility in the governorate, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday. Judge Al-Shami explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the visit comes in implementation of the directives of the Attorney General to inspect the conditions of prisons and prisoners on the occasion of the Prophet's birthday, during which prisoners detained by the criminal prosecution were met in the presence of the director of the correctional facility, and their problems were heard and the progress of procedures related to their cases before the prosecution or the court, the period of imprisonment they have spent and the remaining periods for prisoners pending execution.
