A consultative meeting on the rights of children and girls for Sharia secretaries and heads of documentation pens in Sana'a Governorate began. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, represented by the Technical Committee for Children's Justice in contact with the law, in cooperation with the Yemeni Women's Union and the United Nations Population Fund. During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Justice and Human Rights Judge Ibrahim Al-Shami mentioned that the gathering is part of the Training and Rehabilitation Department's responsibilities. It aims to educate members of the community with legal expertise to raise awareness among citizens, ultimately contributing to the protection of children's rights in society. He stressed the importance of highlighting the role of documentation pens and Sharia trustees in protecting children from the soft war onslaught targeting this important segment of society to achieve their best interest, especially before, during and after the delinquenc y stage, and to participate in achieving community integration and restorative justice for juvenile children.
