The Ministry of Telecoms and Information Technology (MTIT) denies what has been published by the Zionist-linked media outlets and also what has been published by other media outlets and the social media networks, on the allegations as to what have been caused to Red Sea submarine cables last Saturday. The Capital Sanaa MTIT and Government of Yemen (GoY) reaffirm its obligation to the general position of the Yemen Republic toward the submarine cables which was mentioned in the speech of Al-sayed, the Leader, recently, further to what he already stated in their earlier statements and press releases that they are once again so keen to keep all telecom submarine cables and its relevant services away from any possible risks. The MTIT and GOY also emphasize they are so keen also to provide all necessary facilities to get such submarine cables repaired and maintained, provided that such concerned parties have to obtain the required licenses and permits from the Sana'a Maritime Affairs Authority. The Sana'a MTIT a nd GOY also brings to notice that the Yemen's decision to ban the passage of Israeli ships does not pertain the other international ships which have been licensed to execute submarine works within the Yemeni territorial waters. Yemen Telecom affirms its pivotal role to continue and build up and develop the international and regional telecom and internet networks which are provided by the submarine cables running within the Yemeni territorial waters and will keep up to facilitate the passage and implementation of the submarine cables projects through the Yemeni territorial waters, inclusive the projects into which the Yemen Republic participated, by Yemen International Telecom Co. - TeleYemen.
