Al-Mahdi emphasized the need for concerted efforts to advance the sector amidst challenging circumstances due to ongoing siege and aggression. He highlighted the importance of modernizing infrastructure and incorporating new technologies to better serve citizens. Praising the previous leadership under Eng. Misfer al-Numair, al-Mahdi acknowledged their role in preserving the sector during a critical period. He called for a new phase focused on change and construction, urging sector leaders to fully commit to meeting these evolving demands. The meeting also included updates on the ministry's facilities and operations, underscoring the role of the ministry's General Office in regulating and evaluating sector performance.
