Colonists Uproot Over 80 Olive Trees Near Hebron

Hebron: Colonists cut down more than 80 olive trees in the town of Sa'ir, northeast of Hebron, on Sunday.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that armed groups from the colonies of Asfar and Kodufim, which are constructed on the town's lands, used electric saws to cut down the trees in the Wadi Sa'ir area, resulting in their complete destruction. The olive trees that were cut down are owned by several farmers residing in the town.

On October 1, colonists from the same two colonies were responsible for cutting down more than 200 olive trees and over 100 fruit-bearing almond trees in the same area north of the town. This incident is part of a series of ongoing actions aimed at displacing residents from their lands to facilitate colonial expansion.
