Israeli Colonists Plow Palestinian Lands West of Hebron for Seizure

Hebron: Israeli colonists today plowed hundreds of dunums of Palestinian-owned agricultural land in the village of Sikka and the town of Beit Awa, west of Hebron, in preparation for seizing it, according to local sources. The head of Sikka village council reported that groups of colonists from the illegal settlement of Negohot attacked farmland east of the village and plowed more than 500 dunums over the past few days.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists aim to take over lands that span over 1,000 dunums of fertile plains between Sikka and Beit Awa. These lands belong to numerous Palestinian families and serve as a primary source of income for them.

The council head highlighted that residents are present daily on their lands, confronting the colonists' attempts to seize them. He called on local and international institutions to support and protect the farmers and their property.
