Nablus: Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian citizens’ vehicles south of Nablus, damaging several cars and blocking key checkpoints, local sources reported on Monday. The incident occurred near the illegal Yitzhar settlement, intensifying tensions in the region.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, colonists threw stones at vehicles traveling in the vicinity of the Yitzhar colonial settlement, which is situated on Palestinian-owned land. The attacks resulted in damage to multiple vehicles navigating the area.
In addition to the assault on vehicles, several colonists gathered at the Beit Furik and Awarta checkpoints, located to the east and south of Nablus. These checkpoints were sealed off by the colonists, obstructing the movement of citizens attempting to travel through these critical points. The actions have heightened concerns about the safety and mobility of Palestinian residents in the region.
