Colonists Fence Off Land Near Tayasir Checkpoint in Northern Jordan Valley

Tayasir: Colonists this evening began fencing off tracts of land near the Tayasir military checkpoint in the northern Jordan Valley, according to a local activist.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Mahdi Daraghmeh, head of the Al-Maleh and Bedouin communities' village council, reported that the colonists initiated the fencing of plots of land east of the Tayasir checkpoint. It was highlighted that some of these lands are privately owned by Palestinian citizens, while other parts are under the ownership of the Latin Patriarchate.

These fencing activities are set to obstruct citizens' access to thousands of dunums of land. Recently, colonists have been engaging in extensive fencing operations across multiple areas in the northern Jordan Valley, resulting in the takeover of these lands.
