Jericho: Israeli colonists have blocked a water flow at the Al-Auja spring, located north of the city of Jericho in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Hassan Malehat, a local activist, reported that a group of Israeli colonists used rocks to obstruct the watercourse at the spring. The Al-Auja spring serves as a crucial water source for Bedouin communities and farmers in the region, providing essential water for both irrigation and drinking purposes. Malehat condemned the action, stressing the spring's importance for local agricultural activities and the well-being of residents in the area. The obstruction of the water flow poses significant challenges to the local population, who rely heavily on the spring for their daily water needs.
