TULKAREM: Extremist colonists attacked on Sunday evening Palestinian farmers while they were harvesting olives in the Ramin plain area, east of Tulkarem. Farmers told WAFA that a large number of colonists launched a sudden assault against them while they were picking olives, forcing them out of their land at gunpoint. They added that some of the colonists were heavily armed and physically attacked farmers to drive them away by force. Since the start of the olive harvest season, farmers in the Ramin plain have been repeatedly targeted by colonists. One colonist, in particular, has taken over part of the land, established an outpost and now grazes his sheep there, while regularly harassing the farmers.
