HEBRON: Colonists tonight assaulted a Palestinian child, seized over a dozen sheep, and destroyed crops in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, said local sources. Sources said that colonists assaulted a child, seized 15 sheep, and destroyed more than 50 dunums of crops in Masafer Yatta. The sources told WAFA that a group of armed colonists attacked 12-year-old Mahmoud al-Hamamda while he was herding sheep in the Fateh Sidra area in Masafer Yatta, causing him bruises, in addition to injuring several sheep as a result of being beaten with sticks and stones. The sources added that a group of armed colonists dressed in army clothing detained for long hours Ibrahim Etaimat, from the al-Zwaidin area, and Mohammed Khalil Abu Tabikh, whose vehicle was also seized by the colonists, along with 15 sheep. The colonists handed them over to other colonists near the Al-Fakhit area. Over the past two days, colonists destroyed more than 50 dunums of agricultural fields belonging to the Salama Makhamra family in Magh ayir Al-Ubaid, grazing their livestock in the fields which led to the destruction of wheat and barley crops.
