From the beginning of this year to the end of July, the Kingdom's exports of clothing, jewelry, and pharmaceutical products increased, which helped to limit the fall in overall exports. The Jordan News Agency (Petra) is keeping track of the Department of Statistics' foreign trade report, which said that the Kingdom's clothing and accessory exports increased by 23.3 percent up to the end of July of this year, to JD937 million, compared with JD760 million in 2023. Pharmaceutical products exports from the Kingdom increased by 18.6 percent to JD331 million by the end of July this year, up from JD279 million during the same period last year. In contrast, other material exports increased by 7.3 percent to JD2.045 billion, up from JD1.914 billion dinars during the same comparison period last year. In addition, by the end of July of this year, the country's rates of exports fell by 17.7 percent for chemical fertilizers, 15.7 percent for jewels, 34.1 percent for raw potash, and 17.6 percent for phosphate. By the end of July of this year, the Kingdom's chemical fertilizer exports were valued at about JD527 million, as opposed to JD640 million during the same period the previous year, based on statistical data. Comparing the same period last year, the value of jewelry exports was JD429 million as opposed to JD509 million. By the end of July this year, the Kingdom's phosphate exports were valued at JD299 million, down from JD363 million during the same period previous year, and its raw potash exports were valued at JD280 million, down from JD425 million.
