QALQILIA: A Palestinian child was wounded by live ammunition today after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Jayyus, in the occupied West Bank province of Qalqilya, according to medical sources. The Palestinian Red Crescent said the child sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces near the Israeli segregation barrier adjacent to the town. The child was taken to hospital for medical attention. In a separate incident west of Nablus, a 27-year-old man was shot with live ammunition during confrontations with Israeli forces in the village of Telt. Medical sources reported that the young man suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Source: Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA
