Tulkarm: A Palestinian child was injured on Saturday evening after being shot by Israeli occupation forces during their raid on the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank. The incident has added to the growing list of similar occurrences in the region, raising concerns over the safety of civilians, especially children, during such military operations. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its medical teams treated a 15-year-old child who sustained head injuries from shrapnel from live ammunition during the Israeli incursion into the town. The medical response was swift, with teams reaching the site promptly to provide necessary aid to the injured child. The child was subsequently transported to the Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital in Tulkarm, where his condition was described as between moderate and mild. Medical personnel at the hospital are closely monitoring his recovery, with hopes for a full recovery despite the sever ity of the injuries sustained. This incident is part of the ongoing violence and incursions carried out by Israeli forces in Palestinian towns and villages across the West Bank, frequently resulting in injuries to civilians, including children. The continuous nature of these raids has sparked international concern and calls for measures to protect civilians in conflict zones.
