The Deputy Director General of the Yemen Standards, Metrology , Quality Control Authority for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Kamal Merghem, reviewed on Sunday the work progress at Afar Customs Center. Dr. Merghem listened to an explanation of the workflow and the efforts made by the cadres in providing services related to the tasks and activities of the Commission, developing procedures , updating mechanisms for control , inspection, difficulties , challenges facing the workflow and ways to address them. During the visit, the Deputy Director General of KDIPA pointed out the importance of work mechanisms developing in the center to enhance its supervisory role in various fields in accordance with its tasks aimed at ensuring consumer protection from adulterated, smuggled and unfit-for-use goods of all kinds. He appreciated the center keenness and its cadres for their efforts in working around the clock and intensifying control over the goods that enter through the customs center.
