A field team from Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources Ministry inspected a number of export centers, export companies, warehouses and refrigerators in Hodeida, under the supervision of the General Authority for Fisheries in the Red Sea. The team, headed by Agricultural and Fisheries Exports Officer Mohsen Atef, reviewed the preparations at the fish export centers in Hodeida and the preparations for the shrimp season. Atef, along with the deputy head of the General Authority for Fisheries in the Red Sea, Abdulmalik Sabra, listened to an explanation of the centers' work mechanism , their interventions in receiving and exporting fish products. They pointed out the importance of developing the activities of these centers and addressing the difficulties they face, as well as the interventions and preparations they made to receive the shrimp season. Atef and Sabra stressed the need for concerted efforts to provide the necessary support to fishermen, improve working conditions for fishermen, develop the infrastructure of fish landing and export centers, and enhance cooperation between all concerned parties to enhance the production, marketing, export, and preserve fish stocks level in the region.
