Central islands in streets Amran city launched

First Undersecretary of Amran province Abdulaziz Abu Kharfsha on Wednesday inaugurated the planting of the islands and central gardens of the main streets in the city of Amran with fruitful and forest trees. At the inauguration, the province's undersecretaries Abdulaziz Abu Kharfsha stressed the importance of planting trees on the streets and central islands of the streets and parks of the province's capital, in preserving the cleanliness and appearance of the entrances to the governorate's capital and its streets and presenting them with an aesthetic and decent appearance. He pointed out the keenness of the local authority leadership to present the governorate with the appearance that befits it, noting the efforts of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in implementing afforestation work. In turn, Executive Director of the Cleaning Fund Abbas al-Mutawakil explained that the afforestation process aims to plant 500 fruit trees and 500 forest trees as a first stage in Hajjah Street, the Beit Badi area, Shabil, al-Dairy al-Jami'ah Street, Souq al-Layl, the entrance to the withdrawal zone line of Eyal Suraih district, and the southern entrance to the province. He pointed out that the afforestation process comes within the plan of the afforestation season for the year 1445 AH. He called on citizens to take care of trees, preserve them, and activate community initiatives in raising the level of awareness of the culture of planting fruit trees and their importance in neighborhoods and streets in order to protect the environment and highlight the aesthetic appearance.
