Amman: Specialized rescue teams in the Civil Defense Directorate east of Irbid rescued, on Friday, five people who were stuck inside a rocky portion more than 60 meters high in the Wadi Aqraba area of the Irbid Governorate. Given the difficult terrain and hills, the Public Security Directorate's spokesperson said that after the stranded individuals made a four-kilometer hike on foot, the rescue teams were able to reach them with much effort. He continued by saying that although everyone else at the scene was in fine condition and did not need to be sent to the hospital, one person at the scene needed first assistance, which the ambulance personnel administered.
