The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Israeli airstrikes on the Harat Hreik area in the southern suburb of Beirut has risen to six, with 91 others injured. According to the ministry's statement, 14 of the injured required hospitalization, and the death toll is expected to rise as search and rescue operations continue to clear the rubble. In a separate incident, the ministry reported that four people were killed and 17 others wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Baadaran in the Chouf district of Mount Lebanon Governorate. Earlier this evening, Israeli warplanes launched heavy airstrikes on Harat Hreik in Beirut's southern suburbs. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that thick clouds of smoke covered the sky, and loud explosions were heard throughout Beirut and its surrounding areas. The strikes flattened six buildings in the southern suburb. Lebanon continues to face widespread Israeli attacks across various provinces and regions, especially in the souther n villages and towns, resulting in approximately 3,000 people killed or injured, and triggering a large-scale displacement of residents from the targeted areas.
