Gaza - Together - The government media office in the Gaza Strip monitored, on Monday, cases of poisoning among citizens due to eating expired canned food, as a result of the severe food shortage. The government media office said in a statement that people eat expired canned food, causing poisoning in large numbers of them. The government office added that "famine and diseases are increasing among the residents of the Gaza Strip, especially children," in light of the occupation's practice of a policy of systematic starvation and preventing civilians in Gaza from receiving treatment. The government statement indicated that the occupation army directly targets municipal crews when they attempt to restart water wells in the Strip. The government media office explained that the occupation is deliberately putting civil defense crews out of service, by directly targeting them. Source: Maan News Agency
