Egypt Saturday denounced, in the strongest terms, the Israeli occupation airstrike at the Al-Mawasi area in western Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip, which left scores of Palestinian civilians martyred or injured. In a press release, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry called on the Israeli occupation to halt killing weaponless civilians and observe human standards as per international law and international humanitarian law. It underlined that such crimes by Israeli occupation forces would not go unpunished for good, nor would they be condoned under any pretext. At least 50 Palestinians were killed and many others injured in Israeli occupation attacks in Khan Younis, south Gaza Strip, on Saturday. Source: Kuwait News Agency
