Momani added that the government approved the mandating reasons for amending the Food Security Council bylaw for 2024, adding the Department of Statistics to the membership of the council formed under the provisions of this law, and to be the main national reference to provide information and figures related to food security, in addition to approving a memorandum of cooperation in cyber security between the National Center for Cyber Security and its counterpart in Italy, and a memorandum of understanding between the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization and its counterpart in Kazakhstan. In response to reporters' questions, Momani said that the government seeks to enhance the work of the industrial city in Karak, and that there is a plan to bring in more investors. He added that the Ministry of Transportation is ready to open the travel complex in Karak, noting that the Prime Minister has instructed to deal with some infrastructure challenges. He pointed out that the completion rate of the Karak Spor ts City project has reached 23 percent, and that the project is proceeding as planned and will be inaugurated by the end of next year. According to Momani, the Prime Minister emphasized that the difficult regional circumstances should not be a reason for a decline in public performance. He stressed that Jordan will remain a support, aid and advocate for its Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and for the causes of its Arab nation in general, "and we won't accept any questioning of its role in this regard," referring in this regard to the dispatch of 9 planes to Lebanon to provide humanitarian and relief aid and to evacuate Jordanians there. Momani also emphasized the importance of the media's role in issues of public interest, stressing that the role of the media is not to praise officials, but to praise the right decisions and provide constructive criticism in the event of defects.
