The Cabinet Saturday approved the government leadership bylaw for 2024 in line with the requirements of the public sector modernisation roadmap. The bylaw provides an integrated system for managing and empowering government leadership in the public sector. It creates an environment for supporting future government leaders with strong leadership potential. Under the bylaw, all jobs in the second group of the senior category will be covered by performance evaluation standards that include annually determined indicators. The Cabinet approved an amendment to the Cultural Centre Bylaw 2024, cancelling the previous licensing procedures of the Ministry of Education, while maintaining its role in monitoring, following up and inspecting cultural centres per the Minister's instructions. The Cabinet approved the mandating reasons for an amendment to the administrative organisation bylaw of the Ministry of Social Development for 2024. It aims to enable the Ministry to implement policies related to empowering women ec onomically and socially and expanding social protection and care programmes. Source: Jordan News Agency
