Salfit - Ma'an - Settler bulldozers have leveled large areas and uprooted 100 olive trees from citizens' lands in the village of Yasuf, east of Salfit, in favor of expanding the "Nove Hamaya" settlement, which is built on Palestinian lands. The head of the Yasuf village council, Wael Abu Madi, said: 'The Israeli occupation forces bulldozed approximately 6 dunums of citizens' land in the Al-Sarab area located between the villages of Yasuf and Iskaka, and uprooted 100 olive trees, aged between 50-60 years, in order to expand the settlement and pave a road leading to it.' Abu Madi added that the lands that were bulldozed are owned by citizens of the village, including the brothers Abdullah, Ahmed, and Hanan Mustafa Al-Abd, and the brothers Ziad and Zuhair Jamil Abdul Razzaq, noting that the area is approximately 100 meters away from the citizens' homes, and is planted with olive trees. Abu Madi stated that the settlers continue to bulldoze and steal lands in order to expand their settlements at the expense of the citizens' lands in Yasuf. Source: Maan News Agency
