LONDON: Anneliese Dodds, Minister of State for Development at the British Foreign Office, said that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has reached an "unbearable level". In response to questions from MPs in the British Parliament regarding developments in the Middle East, Minister Dodds expressed her "concern" about the overcrowding and difficult conditions in which the displaced are living in areas that Israel claimed were "safe". She added that the entire Gaza Strip is facing severe hunger that is increasing day by day, in addition to the lack of basic services, clean drinking water, shelter and health services, and that the situation will be even more difficult during the winter months. Dodds stressed that "it is unacceptable for Israel to prevent the entry of aid into Gaza". Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA
