Britain: The number of illegal immigrants has exceeded 15,000 since the beginning of the year

The British government announced that the number of immigrants who have arrived illegally in the country since the beginning of this year on small boats has exceeded 15,000. The government stated in a statement carried by the British Sky News network on Friday that the total number of people who entered the country illegally during the year 2024 has so far reached 15,076 people, after 317 people entered on Thursday on six boats. The government pointed out that this number exceeds the number recorded in the same period last year, as the total number of arrivals at that time reached 14,071 migrants. It is noteworthy that during the year 2022, Britain recorded a record number of illegal immigrants arriving to it.
