Jerusalem - Ma'an - The European Union's foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, said that a ceasefire has become "urgent" whether across the Blue Line separating Israel and Lebanon or in the Gaza Strip. "Civilians on both sides are paying a heavy price, and will suffer the most in a full-scale war that must be avoided through intensive and renewed diplomatic mediation efforts," Borrell added in a statement. Borrell stressed that stopping the war in Lebanon and Gaza will be at the top of his agenda at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly later this month. Source: Maan News Agency
