Gaza: Rescue teams in the Gaza Strip on Saturday retrieved the bodies of nine Palestinians from various parts of Rafah. Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted medical sources in the European Hospital in Khan Younes as saying that the bodies of nine people retrieved from the rubble of houses bombarded by the Israeli occupation forces across Rafah arrived at the hospital. Since Saturday dawn, 19 Palestinians were killed and at least 50 others were injured in Israeli airstrikes that targeted three houses in the Shuja'iyya and Tuffah neighbourhoods, east of Gaza, at a time when Israeli artillery intensified shelling of the areas west of Rafah, WAFA reported. Earlier today,Ministry of Health in Gaza said in a statement that the number of casualties of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza enclave since October 7, 2023, had risen to 37,296 martyrs in addition to 85,197 injured, mostly women and children.
