Baghdad Operations Command forces arrested an accused, and seized publications promoting one of the deviant intellectual movements in one of Rusafa areas. The command stated in a statement that: "Within the security plans drawn up by Baghdad Operations Command to enhance security and stability and create a safe atmosphere for performing the Arbaeen Visit rituals and performing the Husseini rituals and monitoring extremist movements that would spread division and hatred among members of society, a force from the Fifth Division of the Federal Police, through intensive intelligence efforts, arrested an accused, and seized in his possession, red-handed, publications promoting one of the deviant intellectual movements in (Al-Shaab) area. He intended to distribute them to pilgrims heading on foot towards the holy city of Karbala, and he was handed over to the competent authorities to take legal action against him."
