The Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Monday in a press release that it will provide urgent medical care for patients from Gaza. The humanitarian aid comes following a request for assistance from Egypt to the World Health Organisation, to which Belgium responded positively, according to the statement. The Ministry declared that young patients from Gaza will be evacuated to Belgium where they will be taken care of by Belgian healthcare facilities. Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hadja Lahbib confirmed on Monday through a post on X on that Belgium will provide medical care for children from Gaza suffering from cancer through B-FAST.
