To tackle the Red Sea issue, its fundamental cause; i.e. persistent fighting in Gaza, should be solved, the Chinese foreign minister said on Sunday, noting that Beijing stance thereat is clear. China publically called on parties to not harass commercial ships in the region and to protect the water corridor in the Red Sea, Wang Ye added during his participation in Munich Security Conference, as China "won't allow" for the humanitarian crisis to continue in Gaza. First, immediate ceasefire should be achieved.. no more fighting, he said. Second, humanitarian corridors should not be subject to any hurdle. Third, an international peace conference should be held as soon as possible to revive the Two-State Solution. There should be more unified voice and stance calling for suitable settlement, and more efforts towards the Two-State solution, the Chinese FM added, as peace can only then be achieved, and "no country can build its security on others' insecurity."
