Baydha governor, Abdullah Edrees, on Sunday chaired a meeting to discuss progress achieved in agricultural projects in the last 12 months. The meeting approved support for projects based on local community cooperative initiatives in irrigation field, in accordance with agricultural plan, and for model agricultural societies. Governor Edress highlighted the need for coordination between different agricultural bodies and project funding unit, in order to achieve agricultural development. Focus should be on agricultural marketing, opening new marketing centers, and erecting more nurseries and rainwater-harvest caravans, he added. Source: Yemen News Agency
